Crew trades

Trade a scene for the stuff you'd otherwise pay for.

Need lunch for 40 crew, a camera package or a house for three days? List it. A caterer, rental house or hotel supplies it, and gets their product on screen, a thank-you in the credits, or both. No cash has to change hands.

$0

cash needed. A straight trade: goods or services for screen time and credits.

In-kind

is how the biggest festivals already work: Sundance lists "Official Providers" who donate services.

$149

flat Filmmortal fee, paid by the business, only when the trade is signed.

Signed

Every trade uses the same placement agreement, with proof both sides delivered.

How it works

Step 1

List what you need

Catering, gear, locations, vehicles, rooms, wardrobe or post. Say what it's worth and what the business gets back.

Step 2

Businesses offer

Local and national brands offer to supply it. Pick one, and both sign the agreement.

Step 3

Shoot, credit, done

They deliver; you film the placement or add the credit, then upload proof. Disputes go to Filmmortal.

Open crew trades
